Jack Taylor was a new resident of the quaint oasis in the middle of a vast dessert. Eager to leave the city to escape the wrath of a woman scorn, this was an answer to all of his prayers.
The town was not much more than a mission, run by three nuns. A priest dutifully came to perform mass once a month. The whole town appeared to be Catholic, as all attended mass. It was at least something to do.
In order to keep the youth from following the village sport of drinking and breeding, the sisters hosted a dance every Saturday in their barn. No alcohol was allowed, but it was open to all. Having nothing else to do, Jack attended as well.
Jack was greeted by the steam of the perspiration of all the town’s young of heart. Al dancing to like there is no tomorrow. The music was calling and Jack could not resist.
In the middle of the floor were Sister Mary, Sister Agatha and Sister Theresa. They were shaking arses as if they were only 16. He was yet to learn that all were aspiring to out dance them. That day, was still very far into the future.
